 Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025) is an American sci-fi action film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by David Koepp. Set three years after Jurassic World Dominion, it marks the fourth Jurassic World movie and the seventh entry in the Jurassic Park franchise. The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Ed Skrein.

In the story, Earth’s dinosaurs now survive only in equatorial zones. A covert team is sent to an abandoned island facility to extract genetic samples from three giant prehistoric species, hoping to develop a cure for heart disease. Their mission collides with a stranded family’s fight for survival as mutated dinosaurs—including the terrifying “Distortus rex”—wreak havoc.

Released in July 2025, the film grossed over $828 million worldwide. While reviews were mixed, many considered it an improvement over earlier installments.


Five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), a daring expedition journeys into isolated equatorial zones to extract DNA from three colossal prehistoric creatures—research that could unlock a cure for heart disease. But survival becomes the true challenge when the team encounters deadly new threats.
